- Maintain Lab animal colony of highly valuable transgenic mice, prepare all transgenic mice for the entire Lab and all our national and international collaborators.
- Carrying out the appropriate molecular PCR analysis, lab ordering (Hopkins One system) for lab supplies, Service Contracts for the all Lab Instruments (Machines), mouse orders for research related to ALS, lab equipment, Interface with vendors. Monitor and maintain laboratory inventory levels.
- Train others (lab members) on transgenic mouse protocols, breeding strategies.
- Guide, direct, and facilitates problem solving for lab members on day-to-day problems with more challenging research assays.
